Happy Christmas!!!

so we had a secret santa thing at work this year and i was watching Nightmare Before Christmas and came up with the idea to make this and give it to that lucky secret santa person that i picked. everyone that has seen it thus far has enjoyed it and i am def going to make more. most likely make a few different ones then make molds of each so that i can mass produce them, any takers??? Any ideas???

La Calacas Press Print Exchange

so this is a print that i am doing for a print exchange that is going to be showcased in three different galleries. This collection of prints will be displayed in Chicago, Florida, and in Nicaragua. I'm very excited to see the complete collection and the print that everyone has made. These are only a few images of the process that i am going through at the moment. i decided to do a reductive lino print that will have several colors applied to it so far this is a rough example of what it will look look like and the first and final layers.

Angler Fish Lamp

This is a forged piece that I mad while attending Syracuse University. It is forged out of 14 gauge and 16 gauge hot rolled steel, measures about 4'x3'x1', and took about 2 weeks to make mostly because of the work schedule i had that year (5 studio classes, art history class, 3 part-time jobs, and rugby practice 6 times a week, crazy! Porfessors wondered why i was tired all the time, haha) This piece is actually in the works to have smaller versions casted and forged and hopefully remain functional. 2007
